Icelandic Revenue Service rule on SICAVs On March 4th, 2010, the Icelandic Revenue Service (RSK) issued a ruling on the taxation of Société d'Investissement á Capital Variable (SICAVs) established in Luxembourg.  They rule that in relation to the double taxation treaty between Iceland and Luxembourg and the definition of residents in Article 4 of the treaty, the SICAV's can not be considered residents of Luxembourg.  Therefore all income received by SICAV's in Iceland will be subject to full withholding.     March 26 2010 In this issue Icelandic Revenue Service rule on SICAVs Useful websites Forward Know someone who might be interested in this email?
